Hi all--I'm new here and would like a bit of feedback from the veterans on the board. I have had many thyroid tests done over the past 10 years and they always seem to come up that they're normal but I keep showing symptoms of hypothyroidism. My last TSH results read from 08/ & 10/2020 3.14 & 3.15 (Ref. range 0.4-4.50) and FT4 1.1 (Range 0.8-1.8). Is it my imagination or am I on the closer end to hypo by these readings or am I wrong? I keep losing my hair, very dry skin, fatigue, obesity(weight that even with dieting will not come off), body aches, sleep issues, and I suppose everything else that comes with borderline hypo. I have tried different endocrinologists and they get highly insulted if you suggest testing T3's or antibody tests as they are "legends in their own minds" and what they say is gospel. If I'm imagining things please tell me as I respect the views of the veterans of the board. I come from a family with two sisters with hypo, a niece with hypo and three out of four of us have fibromyalgia. Many thanks!
