Normal labs

If t4 & t7 are low, is it necessary to increase thyroid medication (Nature-throid) until t4 & t7 are normal?  Or is this an artificial reading because of taking desiccated thryoid?

I saw the T7 post on a more recent post from cathy. -

Cathy, really no one tests the T7 hormone for thyroid. You need to make sure these are FREE T - tests and the FT4 and FT3 would be the right ones to look at.

T4 and T3? I haven't heard of the T7 test. If you have Hashimoto's, then many of us don't feel well until our thryoid levels are in the top 1/2 to top 1/3. I am 38 with no other health problems. I need my T3 (testing the FreeT3 is more reliable) to be in the top 1/3 and my FT4 to be in the top 1/2.
