PLEASE HELP: Need an endo that treats subclin hypothyroidism in Los Angeles

Hi there,

I was recently diagnosed with subclinical hypothyroidism (labs below). I have a strong family history of hypothyroidism (mom and sister) and am bipolar (high-functioning).

My psychiatrist placed me on a very low dose of levthyroxine (1/2 a 25 mcg tablet per day). I went for follow up with my GP and he said he does not believe in treating sub-clinical hypo.

I am looking for an endo who will take my case seriously, as I am experiencing symptoms (hair loss, fatigue, mood, etc).

Does anyone have a doc they can recommend in Los Angeles? I have a PPO, so insurance will likely not be an issue.
