Possible Relapse?

Hi, I'm wondering if I possibly am having a relapse of hyperthyroidism. I've been very tired recently, very forgetful (noticed it while writing a math and biology test recently in the past two weeks) and have been really stressed lately. I haven't had the fast heart, short of breath, trembling, nausea, diarrhea etc. yet when I was first diagnosed. I'm currently on 5mg of methimazole and haven't had my medicine dose changed in almost 11 months I think. Think that I should go to my doctor to get it checked out? Thanks in advance.

Absolutely, have some blood work and see how you're doing.

I'm not due to go back to the end of till January. I'm now freaking out since I recently noticing some of the symptom coming back (diarrhea, can't fall asleep at night and possibly SOB). I forget to take my medicine before I go to school. Will take them when get home (between 3-7pm depending on the day). Is it possibly me needing to remember to take my medicine or should I get checked out? Thanks in advance

Well, it's certainly not helping anything if you're not consistent about taking your meds.  Why don't you put some of your meds into something that you take with you to school everyday (backpack, purse, etc.) so that if you forget before you leave, you can take them as soon as you remember?

The problem is that I can't take them to school (e.g. lost the meds bottle, forget it in my locker, if someone else gets a hold of it), but I may be able to make the exception. I've already tried putting reminders in my phone, and I forget to take once in awhile. Problem is, sometimes I can't sleep at all and I need to be up at 6:45am for school and I can't fall fast asleep till 11pm. I'm dancing late 3x a week for an hour. Is it a good idea to wait and see what happens?

Your next blood work isn't until January.  It sounds to me like it would be a good idea to go in and have it sooner.  It seems it might be affecting your school work.  That's not good.  You also need to get your sleep.

How late do you dance?

It depends on the day and which class I'm doing, but I dance till either 7:30pm or 8pm. On one day, I don't get home till at least between 6:30-7:15pm since of school and volunteering. I sometimes do a tiny bit of homework before bed.
