Question for the experts

Hello all my friends....

I have a questions or two for you guys.
Let's just assume for sake of conversation that on paper all my lab tests come back normal in range.
I have hashimotos and am hypothyroid.  I also take testosterone ad my testosterone level is low.

My ears ring all day long. My ears ring so loud I can't sleep at night without taking sedatives.  I am about to be fired at work because can't keep up with my job.  I have had every test known to mankind.  Had m.r.I. Done on my brain, arteries, and lad night on my pituary gland which I'm still waiting on the results on. It's like water running next to my ears.  I feel beat down as well.

I take .015 of generic levo every day to get to the normal levels.  My question is, if I take a little more levo, will it possibly make the ear ringing go away?

If I take just a little more levo and my body doesn't need it, will my thyroid just slow down on what it makes or will I go hyper?   I may bump to .025...

Why am I the only one with the terrible ear ringing?

Hey Annamae,  I understand how the board works, but i have made some really good bonds with people in this forum.  They have really helped me see my way through this nightmare.  That is why i post in here.

1)What makes your ear ringing worse? (  a relation to the problem)

I think the more tired and beat down I am (more hypo) the harder they ring.  It sounds like water running.

2) Did you ever take a different med than generic levo yet?

I tried synthroid brand, but it didnt agree with me.

3)Is it possibly not thyroid related for you?

It may be possibly low testosterone, but I cant be certain.  I just started treatment to replace the testosterone that my "boys" produce, with a testosterone that comes in a bottle.  I really do not know, but some folks on here have reported slight ear ringing as well.

4) do you still have well known hypo symptoms?

The only symptoms I have are :  foggy thinking, hot and cold flashes, beat down tired.

5)does the ringing change with different posture / head / neck moving, upright / horizontal?

N0, I wish i could pinpoint it.

I should have my results back from the pituary M.R.I. tomorrow....

thank you!

Bruce as you know this forum is mainly thyroid, what we know here. You posted many times, but I don't recall the exact details below.

So just as a common sense starting point (like lets start over with you):

1)What makes your ear ringing worse? (  a relation to the problem)

2) Did you ever take a different med than generic levo yet?

3)Is it possibly not thyroid related for you?

4) do you still have well known hypo symptoms?

5)does the ringing change with different posture / head / neck moving, upright / horizontal?
