Residual Thyroid Tissue?

IMPRESSION:
0.7 x 1 x 2.3 cm mass in the region the posterior right thyroid bed. This
appears to represent residual thyroid tissue.

A possible mass is seen in the anterior mediastinum which is incompletely
visualized. This could be related to thymic tissue. Consider CT of the chest.

My question is... Has anyone had a second surgery to remove the residual thyroid tissue? I was never diagnosed with Cancer or anything.
I also had the CT scan done of my chest and everything seemed fine.
