Roller coaster ride of thryoid meds for 12 years

I had my thyroid removed in 2001 and have been on all doses of Levoxyl up to 125 over the last 12 years.  I finally was able to get to an endo last year and she gave me cytomel at my request due to no energy on 125 Levoxyl.
My labs results with just taking levoxyl were:
t3 3.18
t4 1.18
Tsh .03
She put me on cytomel 5mcg and levoxyl 100 test results came in
t3 3.30
t4 1.35
tsh .08
She then adjusted my levoxyl to 100mcg Monday - Saturday and 1/2 levoxyl on Sunday, test results came in
t3 2.59
t4 1.19
tsh .09
I am in menopause now and now she doesn't want to do to anything else due to menopause.  I am exhausted from being exhausted for the last 12 years.  Can anyone help me?

The rule of thumb for FT4 is midrange, which would be 1.3 on your range (0.8-1.8).  So, it looked best before the drop to only 62.5 on Sundays.  The target for FT3 is upper half of the range, 3.25+ on your range (2.3-4.2).  Yours looked pretty good just after adding the 5 mcg of Levoxyl, but it's dropped again significantly.

Your TSH is suppressed, which often happens on thyroid meds.  It's basically useless at this point and has to be ignored.  However, your doctor is not ignoring it.  If she were, she wouldn't have decreased your meds.

I think your Levoxyl needs a little boost, and Cytomel might as well, but it's always best to just make one change at a time.

How were you feeling when the middle set of labs (FT3 = 3.30) came in?

Menopause, or peri-menopause, can last for several years...too long to wait to adjust your thyroid meds.  Also, menopause can change thyroid meds requirements.

Range for
T3    2.3-4.2
T4    .08-1.8
TSH  .34-4.82

My former endo said she cannot give me a time frame as to when the menopause is going to end,  she said I am in it.

Please post the reference ranges on your FT3 and FT4.  Ranges vary lab to lab, so you have to post them with results.

Just one question:  When, pray tell, does she think that menopause is going to "end"???
