Subclinical Hypotyroidism

I have diagnosed with subclinical Hypo : TSH 8.0, T4 and T3 at normal levels. I have a variety of simptoms as: anxiety, some imsomnia, constipation, slow digestion, feeling cold most of the time, loss hair, poor concentration, drops of energy. I have started a treatment with 50 mg of Heutirox 6 weeks ago and the new test showed a normal level of TSH:1.86 and normal T4 and T3. However  some improvements some symptoms are still there, How long does it take for the treatment to take full effect? Is anything additional to this I should check? Any suggestions?

What were the actual results and reference ranges from those so-called "normal" levels?

stay the course. keep getting your levels checked and document/chart your symptoms so that you can get medication adjustments promptly.  are you supposed to get checked again soon? 6-8 weeks?

for me, it took about 3-4 months to feel somewhat back to normal.  i still feel that i have breakthrough symptoms/hypothyroidism, but for the most part, i'm doing better.

hang in there and write down your symptoms.  if you don't start feeling like yourself within the next month, call your doc for evaluation of blookwork/symptoms.
