TSH, T3, etc. what do they mean?

My levels

T3   80  L ng.dl   (L= 82 H= 179)
T4   9.3  mcg/dl  (L- 4.50, H= 12.50)
TU T3 Uptake   42 %  (L=24, H-42_
TC TSH   2.67  uU/ml   (L=0.35, H 5.50)

AM taking 75 mcg of synthyroid

Have no female reproductive organs.
Had a total hysterectomy
no gallbladder

They dropped me drastically in 2006, not 2005, from 200 mcg to 50 mcg, then came up to 75 mcg.

I got a question... My levels

T3   80  L ng.dl   (L= 82 H= 179)
T4   9.3  mcg/dl  (L- 4.50, H= 12.50)
TU T3 Uptake   42 %  (L=24, H-42_
TC TSH   2.67  uU/ml   (L=0.35, H 5.50)

Does that mean I am hyperthyroid, possibly????

They don't help you expell the gas, they just get rid of it.  Gone.  I take 2 of them and if that doesn't work I take 2 more.  My aunt is a retired RN and when I told her she said what I thought that they are charcoal, but when I read it it didn't mention charcoal.  BUT--I'm getting to it--when I read her the ingredients she said that's what it is.  Charcoal.  It is amazing stuff.  I have told a lot of people about it and every one of them have thanked me for it and thought it was miraculous stuff.  Hope it works that well for you.

The pain should just go away.  If it doesn't after a while then I would say they're not working.

Thanks, I thought so. I go back to the doctor not this week but next. Hey, I have a question. The CharCoCaps...How do you know if they work? Do you burp or, excuse me, Fart? Someone told me that they were no good and that I should take GAS X. Everyone has an opinion. I sipped on a soda all day today and the pains were not bad, in fact, almost not noticeable, didn't drink but 1 bottled water.

If you're talking to me, yes, that's what I would do.  Increase it in very small increments until it got to a place you feel better.  If you think it will help.

So what does that mean? Do I need to have my synthyroid higher?

If I was you I might try to my TSH a little lower and see if that would help the other problems you're having.  Is your bp way low or just a little low?  Does it make you feel bad?  I'd consider how much different you felt when it was lower and if you had less of the problems you have now, you said the GERD didn't bother you until they lowered it, and digestive problems are a side affect of it.  Also the low bp can be a reaction to low TSH.

Something to consider.

Keep an eye on the T-3 and T-4 level.    If next two blood test, T-3 is still low and  T-4 goes higher  would relate a possible T-4/T-3 issue.

Other than that levels seem good (for now).

Good luck!
