Testing after missing doses question

I need to test my thyroid levels this week on Thursday, but this past weekend (Sat & Sun) I somehow managed to miss my doses on those days. Should i wait longer to test? I am taking the NP Thyroid that had changed...I may have answered my own question just now, but any input is appreciated. I take 2 1/4 grains of NP (135mg) per day.

Side note: I've been underweight for some time and am definitely putting some weight back on the past month. I am at 8 weeks since the "new" NP.

The T4 part of your med has a half life of about a week.  So missing 2 days would not have a huge effect.  On the other hand T3 has a half life of less than a day, so serum levels  changes fairly quickly.  It might not make much difference, but I suggest waiting until you have taken your med for another day or two just to be sure your test results are not significantly affected.  Also, be aware that on the day of the blood draw you should not take your daily  thyroid med until after the blood draw for thyroid related tests, in order to avoid false high results.    This is even recommended in the ATA/AACE Guidelines for Hypothyroidism.
