Thyroid Ultrasound

After several months on Synthroid presently taking 150 and still feeling tired - my doctor sent me for a thyroid ultrasound - I am seeing a endo next week - but I am nervous the scan revealed right lobe mesures 3.5 x 1.1 and the left lobe measures 3.3 x 8.5.  The gland is hererogeneous with scattered tiny nodules.  no dominant nodule seen.  What does this mean?

Have they checked your thyroid antibodies?  I'd guess autoimmune thyroiditis (such as Hashimoto's) which can cause the thyroid to swell

Please check the dimensions, looks like report is missing the third one for each lobe.
The heterogenious structure with tiny nodules is typical for thyroiditis (in the past or in the persent)--thyroid inflammation
