Thyroid ism?

Last July I experienced a pain in my ankle and could not move my left foot.  A month later the same thing happened to the right.  I felt inflamation move up throughout my body until in February my blood pressure became uncontrollable .  I was admitted into cicu for monitoring where they discovered my thyroid was overactive.
I still have constriction of blood vessels in the tops of my feet and have had a series of tests . My thyroid goes up and down ....bouncing back and forth from over to under active or normal .  I had a scan it shows nodules on my thyroid.
Any thoughts?

Can you post the last couple of actual thyroid hormone levels you've had done, showing them bouncing up and down, please?  Also, please include reference ranges, as those vary from lab to lab and have to come from your own reports.

Have you been tested for thyroid antibodies to determine if you  have an autoimmune thyroid condition?  It sounds like you could have Hashimoto's Thyroiditis, which is usually, associated with hypothyroidism, but often begins with periods of hyperthyroidism, alternating with hypo, even with periods of normal in between.

Another possibility, since you have nodules is a hyper functioning nodule, but I doubt that would swing back and forth, as you're doing.

While Hashimoto's is, typically, associated with hypothyroidism, as described above, Graves Disease is always associated with hyperthyroidism.  Graves Disease does not swing back and forth between hyper and hypo, as you're doing...

If you haven't had the antibody tests, you certainly need them in order to determine what's going on.

In order to diagnose Hashimoto's, your need to have Thyroid Peroxidase Antibodies (TPOab) and Thyroglobulin Antibodies (TgAb) tested.  You need them both, since both of them are markers for Hashimoto's... some of us have one or the other; some have them both.

The definitive test for Graves Disease if Thyroid Stimulating Immunoglobulin (TSI)...

Some people  have, both, Hashimoto's and Graves Disease at the same time, with either one being dominate at a given time.

Nodules are common with, both, Hashimoto's and Graves.
