Tingling and muscle twitching

Hi all,
I am 34 yr old female. I had vitamin d deficiency with muscle twitching and tingling.
Lately, I have another blood test of TSH, T4 and PTH. My TSH was 2.5 and it is 1.3 last test. My T4 was 1.4 to 1.6 which is borderline. My PTH is over normal range 77. Do I have thyroid problems that cause me perp. neuropathy?
I'm appreciated all of your advices.

I am taking 50000 IU vit. d once a week and I have not taking any thyroid meds yet seems I'm not diagnosed yet.
Did you have MRI or EMG test?
I had my cerival MRI and EMG test done, all came out normal. And I am waiting for the result of brain MRI.
The tingling just make me crazy, needles and pins, bugs crawling on my skin...sign..
Hope the vitamin d can help you!

I don't know that thyroid problems or muscle twitching and neuropathy are related but I have had the same twitching/tingling for 7 years now. I am Hashi's/hypothyroid and have a vitamin D deficiency as well. I have been on thyroid meds for 6 months and have not seen an improvement. They just found the vitamin D deficiency a month ago so I just started taking the 50000 iu supplement. I can't say yet if that helps.

I did see a neurologist (several actually) and they all said that the twitching was just benign fasculations and everything was fine.

I don't have any answers but I just wanted you to know that I can related. It's frustrating not knowing what is the cause and being told that you just have to live with it. Hopefully the vitamin D supplement will help.

Are you taking a Vitamin D supp? Have you seen an endo? Are you taking thryoid meds?
