Many of the labs you had done are obsolete... in the future, you can save some money by eliminating T3 Uptake, Thyroxine Total, Total T3 and Free T4 Index...
Free T3, Free T4 and TSH are really all you need to have done.
Your Free T4 is right at the mid point, which is the recommended target...it's not too high. The recommended target for FT3 is upper half to upper third of its range and yours is only at 47% of its range, so you're actually below the target. There's nothing hyper about your labs.
As, both, des and myself noted above, heart palps can be present with both hyper and hypo... yours seem to be from being hypo, not hyper. I get them horribly when I'm hypo... sometimes to the point where I really think I'm having a heart attack.
Your weight issue, could have to do with low levels of Free T3, however, a good diet and moderate exercise can always benefit all of us. Additionally, it seems that some of us who are shorter/stouter just have to work harder at losing the weight. I, too, find that digestive enzymes go a long way to help with some of the bloating. I, also, find probiotics to be beneficial, as is adding health fats, in the form of olive and coconut oils.
It's also very common for those of us who are hypo to have low stomach acid. I took HCL with pepsin for quite some time, when I was hypo. When my thyroid levels are adequate I don't need it, but when I become hypo again, I do.
i have been overweight slightly hence going from 115 to 140 at 5 2 in a short time.... i am short and stout so i just left off all sugar, and most carbs and eat lean meat mostly stir fry chicken and zucchini and or stir fried vegatables every meal and was taking digestive enzymes too and started walking a hour a day 5 days a week...no set limit or speed, just walking a hour a day and WOW...i am losing weight and my body is changing and i can not believe it.....i started this about 2-3 weeks ago and had to gradually build to a hour and watch something bec it is not easy but i am amazed low carb, and exercise can make changes to my strength...i should have did this ages ago...i got a treadmill finally and i have a bad knee so i go slow but i walk......this is just meant for encouragement for anyone out there that is feeling dumpy hence that is what i was feeling....in tent shirts and the longer the better.....i know i am past shorts and swim suits hence too many spider veins and cellulite but it is good to feel stronger and more fit ... i just want he heart paps gone....
MY DR did say he thinks i have adrenal fatigue and has started me on adrenal support supplement with glandalar starting tomorrow and also have digestion issues hence the reason for bloating and is starting me on HCL PEPSIN with all meals....
thanks for your reply, i was also put on estradiol , progesterone twice aday and testosterone twice a week....and i had heart paps last night although i have been on synthroid for a bout 2 weeks so today i skipped since it feels hyper rather than hypo......i am 54 so post menopausal but never in my life have i ever had heart paps until this 4 month trial of nature throid.....so i am sensing that i have t4 built up from 1.5 and 2 grains of nature throid since i was only on 100mcg of synthroid before and just the t4 in those grains is over a hundred so i am assuming i am over medicated and will have to let the excess t4 leave.....or i hope it is that simple....

The major changes that are going to be noticed quickly, in this case, will be from not having the T3 in the desiccated medication, since T3 leaves the body very quickly after one stops taking it and because T3 is the active hormone.
Both low T3 and high T3 can give heart palpitations. So if in doubt check the Free T3. Ideally Free T3 best if around 75% if reference range and Free T4 50%.
Though its said T4 take 4-8 weeks to reach full potential, but changes can be noticed within 4 days and a major change in TSH value can be noticed after 1 week. It varies from individual to individual.
What were your actual thyroid hormone levels, with reference ranges, on the NatureThroid?
You're going to have an adjustment period, because you're dropping a lot of T3 and going to T4 only... It takes 4-6 weeks for T4 med to reach full potential, so there's not much point in testing before that time.
Don't forget that heart palps can be present with hypothyroidism, too, and it's possible that with the NatureThroid, you could have added a small dose of T4 med and been fine, rather than switching completely. It's common for FT4 to be too low when taking desiccated hormones.
We'll be able to better advise once we see what your labs looked like.
