Thank you for replying Barb. The T3 was removed in November. After I removed the T3 I felt a lot worse and when I was on the T3 I felt a little bit more energised and alert.
Yes, I am currently having symptoms of hypothyroidism. They are:
Feeling cold
Little hard round stools
Heavy periods
Irregular periods (late/early/long/short/spotting)
Painful periods
Weight gain on hips
Joint pain/aches
Stiff joints
Stiff muscles
Hair loss
Hair on face and body (I have been told I have PCO)
Fatigue
Difficulty swallowing
Goitre
Memory loss
Brain fog
Loss of concentration
Pale skin
Puffy eyes
Tinnitus
I also have had a cold/flu virus for about 2 weeks which I can't seem to get over, either. I'm not sure if this is relevant but just thought I would add it because usually I have no trouble getting over cold/flu viruses.
It looks like you need a different endo... TSH is often suppressed when one is on a T3 med or even if one is on sufficient doses of replacement hormones.
Most of us find that we feel best if FT4 is about mid range and FT3 is in the upper half to upper third of its range. As you can see, your FT4 has been at the top of its range most of the time, but in Jan, your FT3 was only at 41% of its range. In Nov, your FT3 was 59% of the range and in Sep, it was 65%...
When was the T3 removed and how did you feel after, compared to when your FT3 was higher?
Are you, currently, having symptoms of hypothyroidism? If so, what symptoms?
