Thanks "gmel" for trying, I have tried very hard too but could not find anything in detail.
Just a thought, assuming that at the initial stage of Thyroid insuficiency, your Adrenals try to compensate for a limited time, then why not people with overactive adrenals and normal Thyroid function still present simptoms of Thyroid insuficiency.
If you adrenals are working harder for some reason and the Thyriod does not, then you you have an inbalance of Cortiso to Thyroxine, or lets just say the active form FT3. The result would be Hypothyroid simptoms with normal Thyroid function tests. Further more the extra Cortisol would dampen you receptor cell sensitivity to Thyroid hormone and else. Am I missing something ....
I am still looking for answers. Anybody...
Have a look at these articles and see if they provide the info you are looking for.

Can anybody atleast point me to an article or publication?
Hi Barb135,
Thanks for the comment.
Does anybody know the mechanism/relationship that Thyroid-Adrenals go through if one is underactive or overactive?
I've read that when the thyroid slows down or stops producing hormones, the adrenals try to take up the slack and keep you going, with extra cortisol and adrenaline.
