feb 2013 lab results

thought by levels would be a little bit lower sice my appettie has increased. So  what do you think, and I know my TSH went up from last time.  MY FT4 and FT3 came down.

My endo wrote overall okish. I will see on the 25th of this month.

February 2013 Results

TSH  2.88   0.38- 4.31 uIU/ml
FT4  0.96   0.72- 1.90 ng/dL
FT3 2.0      2.0 - 3.6 pg/ml

I agree.  The target seems to be FT4 at 50% of the range and FT3 to be 67% of the range.

You are at the bottom end of both!  Your FT4 is only 20% and your FT3 is literally at the very bottom so like 1%

It is hard to say because your FT4 is so low if you have a conversion problem.  But generally your FT3 should be quite a bit HIGHER in its range as a percentage compared to where your FT4 is.  In your case it is the OPPOSITE, your FT3 is lower.

looks to me like both FT3 and FT$ are too low---even though they are within "lab ranges"--your FT3 is at the bottom of the range---drop it one point and it would be flagged---not really a level you want to be at-----especially since your TSH is rising.
