gastric bypass surgery and thyroid meds

I had gastric bypass surgery and became hyperthyroid took RAI and am hypo now. Just started armour thyroid after years of taking levothyroxin.
does anyone have an idea of how the meds would be absorbed?

thanks that is a great idea. i have been chewing it because I read that would be good because of fillers.

I'm not sure about absorption after bypass surgery.  However, you can take armour sublingually and then you won't have to worry about it.  It doesn't take long - maybe 15 minutes or so, for the pill to be absorbed.
