hyper readjustment to lower dose

how long do you think it takes to re-adjust to a lower dose after being lowered on it? after showing hyper numbers how long till you notice the physical effects of the lower dose? symtoms change,  any ideas? is it the same as a raise in the dose 4-6 weeks?  or faster because your numbers are coming down . or is the same ? thanks Kevin

I'd venture to say that for the reduced T3 amount, the effect on blood levels should be there in about 7-8 days.  For the reduced T4, it takes longer to dissipate from the blood.   I would think about 4-5 weeks.  Whether you really notice the effect on symptoms very quickly would depend somewhat on the amount of the reduction.  If I was forced to estimate the time frame, my opinion is that you should notice some change in symptoms within about a week.

If I didn't put enough ifs, depends, shoulds, whethers and maybes in there then that was an oversight.  LOL
