2 years ago I was diagnosed with hypo thyroid with TSH of 9.5. I was extremely fatigued, and I would sweat buckets at night. I got on 50mcg levothryoxine, and in a couple months felt alot better. I would, less frequently, get night sweats so my doctor up'd my dose to 75mcd. I was fine for 1.5 years until last month. Now I am getting night sweats again but they are mild (just around the collar and the top of my head.). My last tsh was 2.75 6 months ago. Prior to that my TSH's have been in the 3's range.
I worry about this sweating. I've lookup of symptoms for all the other bad things like cancers and I don't have any of those symptoms. I also checked my blood glucose regularly because I can go hypoglycemic and when I wake up sweating, I've checked my bg and its always ok 85-92 in the middle of the night. I don't have any other symptoms.
I called my doctor but they can't get me in for a month. Does thyroid medication need to be adjusted over time? Opinions?
