muscle clenching and ensuing ache

I know I read about this somewhere on this forum, but I forget the answer. I have hashi/hypo. My labs have been good for the past 6 months. What causes the muscle clenching and ensuing aching? Vitamin deficiency? Cause I'm still having that, even tho labs good. ???

Hi there, try more calcium,,,,I had TT in January 2008 and my calcium levels have been giving me H%&#....My legs have been really  hurting and feels like contractions.... ...just like labor, but in the legs....and that constant ache is really doing me in....when I really take lots of calcium (about 12 pills daily) it stops but if I slack up on the calcium off it goes again,,,,,I hope it gets better.I hate those big calcium pills, I have to take calcium citrate cause I had gastric bypass 6 years ago, calcium citrate is the only calcium that gastric bypass patients can absorb. I have had the lips and fingers tingling also,,its scary....hang in there

My iron (ferratin) is low also. But I was thinking it was from the GERD. Apparently the PPIs one takes for GERD also inhibits the absorption of vitamins, in particular the Bs, which, between the low iron and bad Bs, could explain my hair loss. I go to the GI doctor tomorrow in anticipation of an endoscopy, so I'll get his 2 cents worth then. This is a matter of figuring out who came first, the chicken or the egg?!!

How are you feeling? Any better? I know it takes time, but it helps if you can sense signs of improvement. What's happening with your business? Do you have people running it, or did you close shop while you recover?

Well, I'm off to Google musle spasms. Speaking of Google, the stock is down almost 38 points right now. Good time to buy if you have $467/share you don't know what to do with!!

Vitamin deficiency.

Potassium, I think. It may involve more than one vitamin.
Potassium and Magnesium? Or Manganese, or insert guess here_____. :^)

Google muscle spasms. There is a vitamin deficiency involved in there somewhere.

Hypothyroidism affects absobtion of vitamins and nutrients. I'm on a lot of vitamins right now. I think I'm short on iron, but I haven't had it tested yet. My hemotology report looks sad.
