need some help

I've not really had a period since May i went to the health dept in July and got put on Birth control Nuva ring I only used one. When I took it out I bleed for 3 weeks and haven't had a period since. When I was there they ran 4 tests on me that cost 500$

TSH 3rd generation more than or equal to 20   1.41
t4 free 1.2
Insulin 12
Prolactin 7.7

I've gained 100 lbs in the last year. I'm tired and could sleep 24 hours a day. I'm a college student and I dont feel like doing my classes.

I don't have insurance and dont really have the money to go to a doc and let them play 10 tests and charge me 2000 so if anyone can tell me what is wrong or what test or anything to help I would appreciate it. Thanks

The boost in estrogen with these prowerful birth control products now out for the public can cause a long surge in estrogen robbing the body of progesterone to keep your body balanced.

You need a complete panel of gender sex blood labs or better yet - saliva panel testing, along with liver tests to determine what to do to put your body back to normal cycle.

I suggest not doing the BC at all either.

something very similar to this happened to me with the depo shot. i would honestly when you can see your doctor next have them look into a hormone imbalance like estrogen and things like that and also test you for hypothyroidism. until you can get into your doctor the best thing i can recommend is try to stay as stress free as possible and try to get back on a daily routine. i know it will be difficult at first, but it will be worth it in the end. i hope you feel better and find out whats wrong.
