Yes, 0.808 would be considered normal for the test that was ordered. Unfortunately, that test is very outdated and really should never be ordered. what it means is that the lab should analyze TSH and if that's in range, they should do nothing further, but if TSH is out of range, they should analyze Free T4... They should be ordering Free T4, regardless of the TSH result, because it's very possible that you have Central hypothyroidism, which is a problem with the pituitary/hypothalamus axis, not the thyroid gland.
The way it works is that the pituitary gland produces TSH to stimulate the thyroid, but if there's problem with, either the hypothalamus or the pituitary gland, that can't happen, so even if the thyroid works right, you'll be hypo...
Talk to your doctor about Central/secondary hypothyroidism and make sure s/he orders Free T4 and Free T3, which are the actual thyroid hormones.
Since you're growing hair where it shouldn't be, ask to be tested for reproduction hormones, as well, particularly, testosterone and possibly, the adrenal hormone DHEA.
