I will talk to another doctor next month when I go home on leave and I will update you with my results! But thank you for your response!
Just because your thyroid test results are within the so-called "normal" ranges does not mean they are adequate for you. Due to the erroneous assumptions used in establishing the ranges, they are far too broad to be functional across their entire breadth for everyone. Also, there are two basic categories of hypothyroidism. Primary hypothyroidism is characterized by higher levels of TSH and relatively low Free T4 and free T3. That is not your case. The second type is central hypothyroidism, characterized by relatively low TSH, but also Free T4 and Free T3 levels that are low in their ranges. That appears to be your type.
In the words of a good thyroid doctor, ""The free T3 is not as helpful in untreated persons as the free T4 because in the light of a rather low FT4 the body will convert more T4 to T3 to maintain thyroid effect as well as is possible. So the person with a rather low FT4 and high-in-range FT3 may still be hypothyroid. However, if the FT4 is below 1.3 and the FT3 is also rather low, say below 3.4 (range 2 to 4.4 at LabCorp) then its likely that hypothyroidism is the cause of a person's symptoms."
As you proceed, always keep in mind that a good thyroid doctor will treat a hypo patient clinically by testing and adjusting Free T4 and free T3 as necessary to relieve symptoms, without being constrained by resultant TSH levels. Symptom relief should be all important, not just test results. You can get some good insight from this link written by a good thyroid doctor. Also, you might be able to use the info with your doctor and persuade him to prescribe thyroid med. You don't need an Endo, just a good thyroid doctor.

Also, be aware that hypo patients are frequently too low in the ranges for Vitamin D, B12 and ferritin. Low levels can also cause symptoms, and low D and ferritin can adversely affect metabolism of thyroid hormone.
Please stay in touch and let us help you interpret new test results and advise further.
