Phiten necklace

Hi
I would like to know if it is safe/beneficial for someone on thyroxine for hypo. to wear one of these titanium-technology neck/wristbands, as worn by many top athletes.
Please advise asap

If anyone's still interested - have spoken to someone from phiten, no known contra-indications, benefits are improved circulation and relaxation.
Feel better for wearing it than not!

That's the trouble, all in Japanese on the package, and conflicting advice from stockists!!

If the necklace state not to wear it with hypo, I'd pass on it. You don't want more problems, as you said!

Yeah, I agree with you.  Wouldn't want to cause further damage.

Thanks.
From what I've read it works by somehow 'balancing out' the bodys energy fields or something, similar to magnets worn in bracelets etc, so I have bought a neckband(if it's good enough for Paula Radcliffe!)
But the supplier then said it should not be worn with a condition such as hypo, although I don't know why.
So now I don't know whether to wear it or not, and I can never get a question on to the doc. (forum is always full)
I would have thought it would n't do any harm, but I would hate to cause further problems

Just read up on them, couldn't see where it would hurt.  My question is do you have experience with them and do they really do something for you?  If they REALLY work wouldn't mind trying this myself.  Anything for more energy and endurance.

I can't imagine it would be a problem. What is the necklace for, though? Just curious.
