8 years back head injury

About 8 years back when i  am  driving my small car  and while turning slowly in  to another lane in my neighbour hood in india , right side head light of my car hit he back bumper over the back tyre of a water  tanker. Neigther of our vehicles are  fast  In that situation i am not wearing seat belt and i just hit my right side corner  of my forehead to the right corner of the windshield  of my car ( in my car the steering is on right side and not on left side as in USA).There is a crack in the windshield at that place. That hit caused some pain just for a few seconds then it is subsided after an hour .II did ot seek any medical assistance as there was no necessity to do so. No head ache also after wards.
I am not experiencing any symptoms in all these 8 years. My memory is good. No dementia. I can think clearly. Coordination in hands  is good.No pain and nothing .I can play billiards and snookers for which precision is required as you know. I am now 75 years old.  My doubt is whether  this old impact  to my forehead cause any lesion in my brain after eight years , as i am getting older. Do  i have to subject myself to a brain MRI?  Why i am asking is my friend told me that impact to the head in an accident cause trauma in the brain. He is not a doctor.Just ward off my fear i am asking. kindly advise
