Head Injury Help

I have been in a fairly abusive marriage over the past year and have suffered several concussions months apart.  4 days ago I was beaten pretty badly and experienced 2 hits to the head (one having my forehead slammed into the tile floor) and the other having had my temple strike the door frame.  Both left terrible bruises.  I was also hit in the nose right on the bridge and have had terrible headaches the past 4 days.  I suffer from asthma and my breathing has been off as well.  I do not want to go to the ER unless it is a necessity as they usually tell me I have a concussion and send me home.  The bills are adding up and I no longer know what to say as to why I am there.  
My concern is my breathing - I struggle to gain a breath every few minutes.  The head pain on my temple is also a concern as it is not improving.  Please advise.  I am not unaware of the seriousness of this situation...

ILADVOCATE is absolutely right.  You need to get yourself to the ER, and from there, straight to a women's shelter.  I'm surprised that you haven't been killed already.  Please….DO IT!

  It would be essential at this time to go to the e.r. to prevent anything from worsening and so what you have can be treated. An emergency room cannot turn down a person in need of help. Also they should be able to provide
referrals for further follow up on the long term impact of the injuries.
   As well it would be crucial to explain to them the cause of the injuries.
The best thing to do would be to have them help direct you to a domestic violence shelter and leave the situation you are in now for your own immediate
safety. They should be able to provide you with further advice and counseling after that as well as referrals to legal assistance if needed.
