Hit my head with my car door...am I psyching myself out?

Two days ago, I went to take the trash out of my car—as I opened the door I didn’t realize i was directly in front of it. Well the door cracked my right in my forehead right above my eyebrow. I immediately bent over and put my head down for a few seconds cause it hurt so bad. I walked around for the rest of the day with a huge knot on my forehead—it had a little blood but nothing serious just broke the skin. Well I have see the knot go down mostly but it’s still there with a barely noticeable bruise. I got a headache last night and it feels like a lot of pressure in my head. Also feels like the side of my upper head around my temple is swollen very slightly. I keep getting random head pain and the knot is still sensitive—do you think this could develop into something serious? I’m trying not to be a hypochondriac but I’ve been reading about brain injuries, hemorrhages, and hematoma...needless to say I’m scared to death lol. But I don’t have the money to go to the doctors so I really won’t ever know if it’s serious.
