Why is the top of my head still tingling 3 days later?

I hit my head 3 days ago in the car very hard and since then, it has been tingling. I have no concussion symptoms and no lump and I have been sneezing a few times, but lately the pain will not occur during the day, but sometimes start at night. I also have a tender scalp that is sensitive to touch or rub on it and the pain can sometimes travel throughout the back of my head. I have applied heat and taken aleve which seems to help it, but how long will it take for the tingling sensation to go away?
