Should I see a doctor if bump on for head hasn’t gone away in over a month?

My son accidentally hit my head with a toy train a out a month ago. At the time I bled instantly but stopped bleeding with in a couple of minutes. I instantly had a bump on head with minimal bruising. It has been over a month and i still have a bump on my forehead. There is not bruising just a bump it is sore and even hurts with the slightest touch. Do forehead injuries/bumps take longer to go down? Should I be concerned? Someone mentioned to me a possible blood clot? I don’t know if that is possible but would like to rule it out. Should I go to doctor or give it some more time to heal?
