side effects of the choking game

Thanks for taking your time to read this. About a month ago I stupidly decided to play the chocking game. My friend placed his hand around my necked and induced my knock out. However, ever since then i have been feeling pressure in the back of my head. I had a CAT scan and blood test they said everything seems fine. However I know that is not the case. I am greatly concerned. I seem to be unable to feel emotions...and unable to concentrate...it may all be do to the pressure..plz help...thank you.

Okey dokey, tweetlover.

The first step is to locate an attornry and head to your friendly district attorney and file felony charges against her "ex". Then her "ex"  better get a double-shift at McDonald's to pay for the ten million dollar tort action she is going to file. In any event this should be reported to the police.

An MRI is not the only scan necessary. An MRA is necessary.

Even that may not show necrotic tissue secondary to this idiocy.

The neuro doc is operating above his pay grade. You need a specialist in "near strangulation", and a specialist in forensics.

It is not one hundred percent certain that the seizures are due to this unconscionable horseplay, however there is assuredly a possibility that this is the case.

My daughter who is 18 had been choked about 3 to 4 time in nov-dec-jan and at the end of jan had a seizure. a mri-eeg and ct scan and all blood work was normal. She has fallen 3 times, and now has had a totol of falls and seizures 6 in total. The neru doc has not heard of this game. she was not playing it, but her ex bf played it with a ex and would grab her by the throat. The neru doc is now saying the seizure are due to migraines, which she has never had before.and has put  her on topamax.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi,
How are you? It is good that your CT scan and blood tests were fine. However, if your symptoms persisted it is best that you have this evaluated further by  a specialist. Complete neurological examination is important to help with determining the diagnosis. Take care and do keep us posted.

"Near Strangulation" syndrome is very real. The effects can vary and can be permanent.

You can have damage and have a clear CT and clear MRI.

Do an internet search.
