Can TBI cause small fiber neuropathy?

Yes tbi causes peripheral neuropathy. My tbi from gunshot causes left side weakness and uncontrolled spasms as well as nerve damage and more

Hi!
TBI is not a known cause of small fiber neuropathy. This is actually a peripheral neuropathy caused by diseases such as diabetes, hypothyroidism, alcoholism, Sjögren's syndrome, Lupus, Lyme disease, sarcoidosis, nutritional deficiency, and Celiac disease. TBI is less likely to be the cause as this usually causes symptoms related to central nervous system. Take care!
