4-5 mm focus of increased T2 and FLAIR signal intensity in the anterior-superior left cerebral central white matter.
IMPRESSION: nonspecific central white changes.  INJURY:  nondisplaced  linear sagittal plane frontal skull fracture,
nondisplaced occitipal left lobe fracture with sub-durmal  hematoma.  Only CT scans done while hospitalised, MRI done 7 weeks after injury by GP as follow-up and to look at auditory canal because of ringing and hearing lose. NOTE:
found 2.5 mm mass in right internal canal consistent with acoustic neuroma.

Hi,

How are you?
The MRI findings show non specific white matter changes which can occur due to aging, high BP, diabetes, stroke, MS, Alzheimer’s disease, and long standing alcoholism.
The MRI also shows fracture skull with a subdural hematoma in the occipital region. This appears to be the result of traumatic brain injury.
A mass is seen in the internal canal of the right ear which could be an acoustic neuroma.
Hope this helps!
