ATN with Hyperacusis..... anyone else?
Hi, My husband was diagnosed with ATN in early 2019, had MVD in late 2019, wasn't successful. He was not good for many months after the surgery, between constant pain and depression, and loss of a everything he could no longer do.
By the time we figured out he had hyperacusis and it was not the TN causing his ear pain, I started researching that and found an audiologist nearby who is currently treating him with pink/white noise.
By the way, we started the journey for TN back in 2017, but for the hyperacusis, he had been com[plaining of ear pain for over 15 years. He worked in a very loud environment for over 30 years.
My question is , does anyone out there have ATN with Hyperacusis?
(he currently is on all normal the meds :..... very high Tegretol )
