I know how hard it is to have pain.You try to divert your mind from pain.
I have so much pain .I take so many kinds of medicine but most important thing is i go to gym for 3 -4 hours and try to do different exercise.When i come back home I keep busy listening busy.You may watch movie or TV.Just get out of your house and go for walking.I have trigeminal neurlgia,diabetes ,fractured leg etc.It hurts me all the time but i try to divert my mind and try to take less medicine.Do any thing which make you happy.Doctors can do very limited thing.If you would like to talk to me and i can help you in any way please do not hesitate.

I know it is hard--am there also. Some time I feel relief lying flat on my back and closing my eyes, not really trying to go to sleep and trying to just think of trivial things. Also when going to bed it is important to find a position that you are comfortable, try putting the billow under your neck and just part of your face and actually laying on the facial pain side.
