please help

Hello to fellow sufferers.  I was just diagnosed with either Trigeminal Neuralgia or TMJ.  Yes, it's true, Dr doesn't know.  I checked TMJ and the stabbing, excruciating pain that feels like there's an icepick being jammed into my ear, Sounds like TMJ but I also am VERY touch-sensitive when it happens.  I can't even feather touch anywhere on my ear or area around it.  So, if anyone could shed any light on this, it'd be greatly appreciated.

I suggest you locate a Facial Pain Specialist who can diagnose if it's TMJ or TN. Personally I had to try 6 different doctors before I found one that had any experience to help me.
