Chest pain but all heart tests clear?

I have been having chest pain for the last 18 months. I saw a cardiologist who put me through a full cardiac work up. I even had a cardiac cath, which were all clear. I still til this day have severe chest pain that shoots to my left arm. I’ve been seen in the emergency room so many times and everything is always clear. EKG and triponin are always negative. When I’m laying down at night I can’t feel and hear my heart beating very hard. I’m desperate at this point.

Hi, David. Just to make sure, did they check you for coronary vasospasms (aka Prinzmetal Angina)? There is no blockage to be seen on a cath. What happens is the smooth muscle that lines arteries tightens up and cuts off flow.
