A Lot of Health Issues All at Once

I'm a 33 year old Male, I eat healthy and exercise regularly. 6 months ago I ended up with a stomach sickness that had me laid up for a week (nausea, diarrhea, vomiting). At the end of that I ended up with a eye infection, I went to a fast clinic and they said I had pinkeye, antibiotics and eye drops for a week didn't do anything. Went to a opthamologist and they said it's ocular herpes not pink eye. Pretty bad infection but I'm basically healed from that (still on meds to keep the infection gone). What's getting me is the past 5 months I seem to constantly have some kind of skin infection. First I had what i can only describe as a scaly/dead skin/round patches that I can easily peel off but they keep coming back. After peeling them off and applying aloe they finally went away. Now I seem to keep getting what I think is angular cheilitis. Currently dealing with one at the moment that I'm applying aloe to in hope that it heals. Along with a change of skin pigment in a small spot on my face, it's not noticable at all but I can see it. Also my lymph node by my eye that was infected is still swollen and my lymph node in my  neck on the opposite side of my infection is swollen. They have been swollen for 5 months now. I have never had this many health issues in my life. Am I just getting older or is there something else going on? Also all this started after moving to a new state.

Just an update. Been on probiotics now and they seem to be helping. Skin patches haven't come back. I also cut out bread. Basically just eating whole foods. Meat, veggies and fruits. I forgot to mention my eye floaters I have now also. They developed after being prescribed antibiotics which I didn't need. Ciprofloxacin,  I think this was the cause of all my issues. Hopefully these eye floaters go away. Any tips for that is greatly appreciated. Also after doing some digging I see that ciprofloxacin has messed up alot of people's lives.

The probiotics help the gut heal by balancing the good & bad bacteria that exist in the gut.

Have you tried taking prebiotics & probiotics? Life way Kefir or kimbatcha from Target should help your for straighten out the pathogens, then maybe go from there to see which symptoms subside.

Don't know if you actually have an infection or not, that's not what you're describing.  I would ask, any digestive problems going on?  Getting sick more often?  Fungal infections?  I ask because this is a risk of taking antibiotics -- they not only kill of harmful things, they also kill of the things that protect us from illness and make our digestive systems function properly.  Might be the problem.  Might not be.

You should see your PCP +/- dermatologist to get this worked up.

Risk for factors for angular cheilitis include:
- Oral thrush: infancy, old age, diabetes, systemic corticosteroid or antibiotic use
- Dental: dentures or braces, crooked or missing teeth
- Poor nutrition: celiac disease, iron deficiency, or riboflavin deficiency
- Systemic illness: inflammatory bowel disease or HIV
- Sensitive skin: atopic dermatitis
- Genetic predisposition: Down syndrome
- Oral retinoid medication: isotretinoin for acne, acitretin for psoriasis
