Chest pain/Swelling in Underarm

1 month:

Axillary lymph nodes and ones on chest are swollen on both sides, tender to touch.
Sore and slightly swollen throat
Skin slightly red (chest, arms)
Low grade fever (<100 degrees)
Left arm periodically swollen, falls asleep at night if I sleep on side (more easily than in the past)
Weakness in hand, possibly reduced blood flow

My hands were scratched and bitten by a cat about 6 weeks ago, but I took antibiotics and was also tested for cat scratch fever (negative).

Chest X-ray and Left axilla ultrasound both negative. CBC all normal except for slightly high cholesterol.

Any thoughts? Much appreciated

Hi, mowi. The short answer is that:
(1) cat scratch fever is known for lots of false negatives on antibody testing. You can ask here about the details of that.
(2) cat scratch fever is known for a wide variety regarding effectiveness of antibiotics across various patients

So you probably do have cat scratch fever.
