Yes Blinn, I too had a similar kind of pain in my arms. I had an accident long before so I guess the pain is due to that. For two years, I have been taking medicines. It was good taking those medicines but I never got a permanent relief from it until I went for a Physiotherapy treatment in Physio Now at Erin Mills. Their treatment was so much effective in getting me back to my life.
A related discussion,
Physiotherapy treatment was started.
Thanks for the help! I appreciate it.
It's up to you if you want to continue with your trainer treating you or see a Sports Medicine MD as a 2nd opinion. Only you can make that decision. I've given you options above.
No, the sports activity makes them feel better. Some weekends they feel good and some I have the pain- same as the weekdays.I usually train 7 days a week.
Would you say that your symptoms get worse during the day while you do sports, then ease up when you stop and sleep? Are they better on the weekends when you have no sports or training?
It is actually a little better now throwing than when I was inactive. My current sports med doc gave me stretches during the summer to do to see if they would help but all they did was loosen my arms for that day. Ice doesn't help and heat has little to no effect as well. I have never had injections in both those spots.
Would you say that you are worse now that you resumed your throwing now? Is this a repeatative movement for you? Have you tried any PT? Have you seen a Sports Medicine MD? Does ice or heat help? Did you ever get any injections to these areas? Taking Advil occasionally with food (no alcohol) won't hurt you if it gives you relief, but you still need to find out what is causing this. I would find a Sports Medicine MD and start there.
Yesterday I woke up with no pain, but I noticed that on the inside of both shoulders, there is one spot that is tender if i massage it. I feels almost like a ligament but im unsure. This is the first time noticing this.
