Concerned about my wrist??!

I'm a swimmer and around two weeks ago I noticed that while pushing myself out of the pool I had a strange sensation in my right hand. Since then, any time I quickly turn my wrist (in any direction really) I get the feeling that in the center of my wrist something locks up and my hand tingles. While the locked up sensation goes away almost immediately the tingling may or may not stay for up to 15ish seconds. It doesn't interfere with my range of wrist motion, but is worrying as I don't want anything worse to come of it. If any of you have an idea as to what may be wrong it would really help out.

It appears that you may have damaged a tendon or muscle in the wrist.

Make an appointment with your doctor so that you can get the proper diagnosis and referral for further evaluation if required.

In the mean time, strap your hand and wrist with a bandage to keep the wrist supported to allow it to heal and don't put any more pressure on it until it is well recovered.   Elevate the wrist by using a sling if this helps.
