I live in Wisconsin, and after all of my medical bills rolled in, someone told me about a state run program to assist students and low income individuals in paying for their medical bills. ( I'm still waitin on an answer.) You've got a computer. Get online & plug in something like, Low income/ state/ Medical assistance. Well, you know what I mean Don't stop trying till you get an answer. K?
Does anyone know of a way to be able to see a gastroenterologist for free, he is a college student and cannot afford to see one and his parents are unable to help also. We live in California and he lives in the mammoth lakes area.
Please tell me more about your friend, how did they find this out?
And he's only been to the emergency room and to a generic doctor and he can barely even afford that.
If you don't get the answers you are wanting keep asking! Or go to different dr. (gastroenterologist) for second opinion. Sometimes a different dr. may have new thoughts and ideas. A good dr. would never be offended by you doing so.
Of everything you've mentioned I would be inclined to focus on the source or reasons behind the fatigue. There are many potential causes of fatigue - most of which can be targetted specifically in specific tests.
It could be anything from Hepatitis to depression.
Make a checklist, get as many specific tests as possible and if no joy get a second opinion as the first person is probably missing something...
Take care!
That's TERRIBLE Britney! How many, and what kind of doctors has your boyfriend been to? I had a friend who was the same age as him, who was having the same symptoms, and it turned out to be her GALLBLADDER. After they removed it Laproscopically, she was fine, no more trouble.
