Distended abdomen, abnormal stool, etc- what's going on?

Symptoms, every day for the past 1.5 months:
Weight gain (20 lbs in 3 months)- I'm very active and eat well
Distended stomach- so much that I cannot wear clothes with tight waistbands
Abnormal stool- watery/greasy pencil shaped
Gas- frequent and hard to pass (worse in evenings)
Excessive muscle twitching
Difficulty remembering names, addresses, and things I used to be sharp with

No drastic change in diet. I've weaned off of Effexor and Alysena within the past 3 weeks as I figured one of the two may be causing these symptoms but I still have them. They have alleviated slightly since being off of them, and my nausea has gone away since coming off. Effexor was not working for me at all and I hoped these symptoms were just side effects but evidently not. GasX, Tums, and the like have not helped at all.

Hello,

Have you been tested for Irritable Bowel Syndrome? (IBS). This can cause the symptoms you are describing.  Another condition that cause this, AND the foggy thinning and muscle twitching is Candida, a type of intestinal fungus. I would certainly ask to be checked for it, it can cause so many issues ESPECIALLY the ones you posted. In the meantime, cut ALL sugars, wheat and yeast out of your diet, see how feel after a few weeks, if you feel better, this is a good indication that Candida is the culprit.
