Dizziness nausea chest pressure

nausFor the past 3 months I have been having spells of being light headed, nausea, chest pressure, tightness in left side of arm and leg and just not feeling right. I also noticed my eyesight seems worse. I was hospitalized twice. Had a stress test, MRI, exrays and blood work. The only thing that showed was a bad sinus infection. The EKG was borderline and the blood work showed a elavated d-dimer which they checked for blood clots in the lungs. It came back good. While in the hospital when I would have the dizzy spell my heart rate would jump to 159 down to 40 and then skip a beat all within seconds. After the dizziness, chest pain and nausea quit my heart rate would go back to normal. I was told it could be coronary spasms, a virus, anxiety, middle ear. Each doctor had a different thought. I'm still getting the same symptoms but instead of every day they are once or twice a week and last for a couple hours. Usually after I have one I am freezing no matter how warm it is and extremly tired. If anyone has any ideas on what could be causing this please let me know. Thanks! The dizziness I have isn't where the room is spinning, it is where things get dark and you feel like you going to pass out.

HI, Thanks so much for taking the time to reply. They did check my thyroid and the test came back good. Sorry, I forgot to mention it in the above comment. I also forgot to mention that I get short of breath when I had these dizzy spells and get a wet cough with it. Afterwards both go away. I had a pulmonary test done too and it said there was a little shortness of breath but I am an ex smoker of 20+ years.I quit smoking 5 years ago. Don't know if it would help to mention, I am a 46 year old female. 5'8" and weigh 130. Prior to these spells I've had for past 3 months I would get light headed for a second or two and that was it. It would happen maybe once a month or less but nothing like it is now and I never had all the other symptoms. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hello,

One important possibility that needs to be evaluated is hypothyroidism. Symptoms of hypothyroidism are fatigue, depression, weight gain, cold intolerance, dry, coarse hair and skin, constipation, muscle cramps, decreased concentration, vague aches and pains, menstrual disorders, palpitation, cold intolerance and swelling of the legs.

I feel that you should consult a physician and get yourself and your thyroid hormone levels evaluated.

I hope that helps.Take care and pls do keep me posted on how you are doing or if you have any additional queries.Kind regards.
