You may like to look up Acrocyanosis.
Although the fingers and toes can go cold and turn white with Reynaud's, they do not turn purple.
Wear more layers of socks and good warm boots to keep your feet warm and dry.
Best wishes.
Thanks for your answer.
I have positive ANA antibodies and my doctor said I had Raynaud's as she conducted a pain test on me. I was found to have increased pain/exaggerated pain response when she tapped on parts of my toes. Also if I stub my toes they hurt more than they should.
Thanks
I presume that your doctor conducted the test for Reynaud's after the endocrinologist's report.
Did you inform the doctor that sometimes your toes go purple with the cold?
Thanks for your reply.
Hi, doctor knows I have Raynaud's as she has put this in my notes.
I spoke to the Endo regarding my toes going purple after being exposed to extreme temperature changes - both hot and cold. I even sent her the photos. She still is not referring me to an immunologist or rheumatologist as she has said I have no inflammatory markers and tests for Anti-Ro and Anti-La are negative.
So I got nowhere unfortunately.
Thanks for your reply.

With you living in the UK, I would have thought that the doctor would be the one that would refer you to the immunologist or rheumatologist.
So when you say "She still is not .....", I presume that it is your doctor that is not referring you to the immunologist or rheumatologist because the tests for the Anti-Ro and Anti-La (which I do not know what that means) are negative.
I suppose the endo is satisfied that they have diagnosed you with the Hashimoto's so that now you will get the right treatment to make you feel well.
Take care, best wishes. xxx
