Something is wrong..please help if you can.

Helllo everyone,
Ok the past couple weeks i have had a problem but it has gotten worse over the past few days. What i am about to tell you is probably gross for some but i really would like to know if anyone else is having the same problem or if anyone knows what it is. Ok so the past several weeks (cant remember how long) i have been having a problem having bowel movements. I am constatly going and half the time i feel like i really have to go and i dont. The past couple days it has gotten severely worse. For example, yesterday i had a bowel movement approx. 10 times, and about 20 times i feel like i really really had to go and went to the bathroom and nothing came out. Also every time i go, it is very soft and only a little comes out. Its not diarhea but its really soft. Its really annoying feeling 24/7 like i have to have a bowel movement and either barely anything comes out or i dont go at all. The only relief i get if when i have sex and its only for about an hour afterwards and then it starts up again. If anyone knows what this is or if anyone else has this can you please let me know. Thanks.

I agree you probably should get tested via a lower GI or colonscopy. You could try in the meantime to take metamucil daily. That helped me. I was actually getting messes because of incomplete bowel movements. It has done the job for me. I also eat more frutis and veggies and whole grains. It is best to get checked in case you have a blockage or Chrons, or irritable bowel.

I am not a doctor but I know that is a really common symptom for my husband and he has Chrons Disease.  There are a number of other tell tale symptons though and I do not know if there is anything else going on in your case.  You might consider asking your family doctor for a referral to a gastroenterologist.  Perhaps they can figure out what is wrong
