Flu-like but no respiratory symptoms

wbr
I've had a fever for 2 days now, ranging between 99 - 101.7. I feel weak and achy, but there are no other typical flu symptoms. Respiratory tract is clear with NO sore throat, stuffyness, cough, etc.

The fever started slowly and took about 8 hours to reach it's peak. Since then it has flucuated but stayed generally around 100. I have an appetite for food but feel too weak to eat normal quantities.

I have no sores or any externaly visible symptoms. My chest is slightly tight and my "stomach" area feels unsettled. At the onset of the fever, I had mild diarrhea, but since then just bad gas.

Any thoughts?

I too had a very high temperature (102.75) achy and joint pain, but no respiratory symptoms.  No cough, sore throat, congestion etc...

Has anyone else experienced this before?

Sounds like me 3 years ago. I had a slightly elevated liver panel. It went back to normal and I have no idea what caused it. I was sick for 2 weeks. Like you I kept waiting for my nose and lungs to be affected.

See your doc and get some bloodwork done...
