Help with my diagnosis

Hi,

For the last year or more I've had a lump on the left side of my neck. It is under the skin and not visible to the naked eye however it can be felt. I was told by the doctor this was a swollen lymph node and not to worry. Along with this I have been getting chronic head pressure and a slight tight facial pain on the left side of my face. This comes and goes. The doctors have given me beta blockers and said I have silent migraines. They help a little but not a lot. Has anyone ever felt similar to this? I also have sore eyes with plenty of eye floaters and I also have a slight internal tremor type feeling that comes and goes especially under exertion. I never felt this before. Just to note that the lump on the left side of my neck appeared a few months after the head dullness came along so they may not be related. See my older post for additional info. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hello~I highly suggest that you see a chiropractor. It seems to me you have misplaced vertebrae in your neck and this is causing the issues you are having. The chiropractor will take some x-rays and then determine exactly which areas need attention. After a few treatments, you should start to feel better.

I think if you take an absorbable form of magnesium, such as magnesium citrate 600 mg, your head pain may improve.  The swollen neck nodes remind me that until I found out I have Celiac disease, I had swollen nodes in my neck all the time.  It took a surgeon to tell me my problem 30 years after I should have been diagnosed, so please ask to get tested for Celiac disease.  It's a couple of simple blood tests.  I had 30 odd little symptoms that nobody could explain, and they thought I just had anxiety.  Nope wrong.

Thanks for the reply. Would my blood tests so far not have checked for Celiac Disease? Early on I was taking magnesium 600mg a day. I took it for a few months and nothing changed, after awhile it made me quite tired so I stopped. The node on my neck is pretty late under the skin. It's only one mode and has been there a few months. The doc just keeps saying it's a swollen lymph node and that it'll subside. It's hardly a coincidence that I get numbness that side of my face and neck?

Silent migraines are suspect, however, a Neurologist should order an MRI to help him/her rule out any  neurological abnormalities relating to differential diagnoses.
Best wishes,
Niko

Hey Niko. I have had full brain MRI and spinal MRI. All were clear. Have had bloods done which also were clear. Neuro says migraines. While I get head pressure I also have a shaking internal feeling sometimes along with shaking when trying to do a simple crunch. This never happened me before all these symptoms started. I've seen some similar posts on here but nobody seems to have a proper diagnosis. It's so frustrating as it affects me daily and I'd love an answer.
