I am coming up on a year of not being able to be diagnosed with whatever it is that is wrong. I've been having episodes of dizziness, light headed, nausea, numbness/tingling/weakness in my left extremities. I've had episodes of what appear at face value to mimic petit mal seizures. All tests have come back normal for the most part. I do have some generic things such as a right frontal lobe meningioma, many mural calcifications within the vertex bilaterally, numerous dilated perivascular spaces. All reported as "variant" but it seems to me that there is something underlying causing all of the "variant" findings. I had an LP that came back OK except for my CSF Glucose which was <2 with a refernce of 40-80. My CSF Differential was lopsided with High polys and low lymphs, My EEGs are normal.
The funny thing is, I'm only 31. All those variants I would expect to see in people older than I am. My mom has primary progressive MS. My CSF came back neg for MS but to me something is going on.
I'm losing my mind as my doctors have stopped caring becuase they can't figure it out. I haven't driven a car in two months becuase I was in an accident where I don't remember a minute or two of time just before the impact (that I created).
I'm lost! I'm tired! If you have anythoughts...I would be glad to listen.
Thanks.
