I did a rapid HIV test last week which came back negative and am not sure at the accuracy of a Point Of Care HIV test. Anyone know if these are accurate? I have decided to go for a regular HIV test and wait the two weeks to see what the results are.
I agree since HIV/AIDS has been ruled out now
it's pretty scary stuff though
i would still go with some sort of leukemia or lymphoma, it would be the best thing to rule out then go from there
uhm yeat infection is on the top of my penis... saw a doctor who told me that is what it is...
the one swollen lymph node is HUGE!
uhm I have had alot of these symptoms for more than a year....
it is a long weekend so I have to wait until Monday for blood tests now
hmmmm....
where is the yeast infection ???and how did u know that it is yeast infection ?
do u have any ulcer ,lump or any kind of trauma in ur lower limb from toes nail up to the groin ??
ur cbc can give us a clue about ur immune status by reavling ur white blood cellscount and differentiations
how long this condition has been there?
would u give me an idea about the size of ur axilarry lymph node ?is it more than 1 cm in diameter as u can think ?
oh yeah, most imortantly... I have a yeast infection... and athletes foot...
groin lymph nodes... one is huge and swollen and red - feels like a big bump in the right side, have a smaller one just below it that is tender but not as big and another on the left side that is small and doesn't really bother me...
have a few lymph nodes under my arms that are swollen, not tender and don't bother me...
no drugs or medication
only had hiv/hep c tests done
am going for a complete cbc on monday
no chest xrays...
My dear ,
we need to discuss ur symptoms again
how big ur inguinal lymph node ?r they tender ?movable ?
any lymph adeno pathy in other regions ?
do u take drugs ?any medication used ?
have u done blood tests recently ?
any chest xray ?
I have been checked twice for HIV in the last couple months... there is no way that two tests would come back negative...
could have lymphoma, or chronic lymphocytic leukemia... however there are many other diseases that can cause t-cell deterioration...i would go and get checked for HIV again
